What's up, doc?

Time again for the official 'it's been a while since I've posted' post.  

Not dead. 

Not retired from arts. 

Just busy. 

I have actually been doing a lot of really fun illustration at work...that I, unfortunately, can not show you.  I have some personal projects I'm working on and/or trying to work on, but between RL and work and freelance, well, I've been super busy. 

I am also learning, more and more, how very important networking is.  Maybe I'll post more about that later.  But for now, here's a little comission I did for a friend yesterday: 

It was something I had about an hour to discuss, find references for and draw, so there are some imperfections, but the people involved all seemed to like it a lot.  So yay! 

Not a lot else going on...trying to finish one more piece (the amazon priestess) to stick in my calender, but this weekend, freelance gets the piority -- I've been hired to hand paint a bunch of wine glasses, so that's kind of fun.  ^_^
